Wife and I fished Winnsboro from our kayaks on Thursday. This was our third time fishing there. The property is very scenic and the fishing has always been good for us. Caught about a dozen in the in the 2 to 3 lb range. Towards the end of the day, I was throwing a junebug senko rigged wacky style along the north shore. Pitched it next to a stump and saw the water boil. Set the hook and quickly realized that I wasn't in control. The fish surfaced and I started praying. After getting pulled around for a while, I managed to get her landed. Weighed 10.4 lbs on my Berkley scales making it my new PB. What a day!
