Whenever I have the urge to just go and enjoy the outdoors, Old Oaks is my place. I decided around 11:00am that I wanted to go and was fishing at 1:30. I nvever caught so many fish in one afternoon! It became comical. By the end of the day, I was throwing baits I very rarely throw, practicing casting/skipping and still catching fish. I probably caught between 50-60 fish in 4 hours. Keep in mind, nothing of size. The largest was maybe a pound, but most were 10-12 inches. I know there are some bigger fish at Old Oaks. In the past I have caught a 5+ and several over 3, but on Saturday, it was all small, but a lot of fun! Old Oaks is easy to get in, I like the plastic boat, but if you go, you do need to bring something to use for a seat. Thank you to the owners and PWF for making this place available!
