I got a day that was not so windy. Launched around 2 pm and it could have been a day of culls. The water clarity was 3-4’ and water temps were 72-73 degrees. The day weatherwise couldn’t have been any better but no cigar. The beds were empty. A lot of the bass were bucks. The bigger females have already spawned. Most fish caught were along the middle channel in the grass areas.  After culling and losing a few, I decided to throw a large swimbait and a grass jig. Nothing large was caught, but it was a fun day on the water and not in the office. Thanks again Kickapoo owner and PWF!
