My first trip to this property and its really nice. Like all places in Texas right now, it needs about 6 feet of runoff to fill up! Water temp at 0700 was 68 degrees. After catching a few bucks in the shallow flats with chatterbaits, we moved into deeper water and busted out the crankbaits and soft plastics. The WIND was aweful so the cranks were the better selection, they liked red/brown craw patterns the most. We ended up with 20 fish between the 2 of us and while I caught more than my wife, she caught more quality fish. That made my day even more enjoyable! It appears most of the spawn has happened and most fish in post spawn pattern.
