Chris and I fished this lake for the first time today. It’s a beautiful spot and the fish were biting. We fished from 7:30 to 2:30 and caught most on flukes. Fish were close to the bank 70% of the time. I was hoping for a chatterbait day based on a previous report, but they weren’t having it. We caught 2 that way but had to make them do it. We caught ten that were 3lbs or over and four that were 4lbs or over. The wind REALLY kicked in about 2:00 and we called it a day. Great day of fishing on a beautiful spring morning!
