April 1 started out chilly with air temps. in the high 30’s, wind 10-15 from the NE and water temp. 60. Lake is down about 4 ft. with around 3 – 4 ft. visibility.  The bite was sporadic through out the day until we left at 3:30.  Vegatation was only a problem in the shallow parts of both arms.  Several 3-4 pounders were caught on soft plastics with most of the culls coming on the cranks.
