Took a guest out to BSM today. This is one of my favorite spots as the bass are healthy, but you dont get many bites. Fished from 1:30-7:00 pm and was a far change frome windy weather as of late. Some gust up to 10mph, but overall a very easy day to fish with temps in mid-upper 80s. Surface water temp between 65 to 70 in some spots, but mostly 55 degrees. Bite was slower than normal but managed 6 healthy 3 lbers. Some of those were 1 foot off bank and some were off rock ledges. Hooked up and missed 3 others. Bite was light and they would run right toward you so it was tough setting hooks. One of them was a big one.
