Had a good time Saturday morning fishing Travis.  This was my second time fishing Travis, but first time to fish it from a boat.  The wind was tough to keep the boat in place and the opposite side of the lake from the dam was very shallow.  We ditched the boat and walked around the lake a caught a few.  Most were just over the cull size limit, but they fought well.  The bite was very subtle most of the time.  I did catch one nice sized crappie that fell off the hook and hit the boat deck and bounced back in the water.  

I like this lake a lot and last year caught a really nice bass!  I know they are in there!
