This day was the day of should of could of but didn't. I think I lost twice as many as catches. They were spawning on the far west side of the lake as well as the adjacent shoreline of the ramp. Water temp was 63 warming up to 68 degrees, and the water clarity was 2' at the dam but stained on the opposite end. Most of the bites were far west and next to the launch. Fish were hitting baits in 1-4' of water. Anyhow, I lost one at the boat about 8-9#. Just unable to get her in the net before coming off the hook. Some others were 4-5# and a couple unseen but all solid fighters. The main baits were the chatterbait and swimbait. Should of could of…..hoping for redemption. Thank you Dogwood owner and PWF!
