Fished 3/26 from 9 am to 2 pm. Caught one nice chunky 3 lb bass on a weighted wacky senko in the famous trees in the northeast cove. No other bites. No crappie on the killer crankbaits. I dragged crankbaits at various depths all over the lake. Fished shallow and deep with plastics. Pitched a jig. Nada.

Owner came by, and was disappointed about my slow day. He said he put in about 4000 minnows earlier in the week, and wondered if that turned the fish off. Based on results, I’ll have to say yes. They were probably gorged.  He offered to let me fish Blue Rock Lake since it was open, which was very nice. I had to get going, so declined but thanked him!
