Fished from 10-6. Clear sky with a north wind. Water was murky after recent storm and surface temperature rose from 60 to 64 degrees. We fished shallow all day. There are a few spots where you can see the fish.  Most fish were caught on junebug ultravibe speed worm texas rigged with a small pegged worm weight or a chrome rattletrap. We kept five bass and eight crappie. Most bass weighted from 2-4 lbs and were healthy, hard fighters. My broher and I hadn’t seen each other in several months so we were visiting and didn’t get a good count on the bass but probably around 40. It was my fish trip to Hickory Creek Ranch and it won’t be the last. Beautiful place and loads of fun to fish!
