Went out to old Old Oaks Ranch today. Got say the drive up to and the property was beautiful. Lots of old oak trees that were awesome to look at with rolling hills as the back drop. As far as fishing goes it was tuff. Water was clear and the water was pretty shallow with lots of vegetation. Only technique I found successful was burning a spinner bait by grass beds. Me and my brother caught a bunch of small ones. But the land and scenery out there is awesome and will be back. If ya want to catch numbers then this Lake is perfect for that.
