PWF Member John Bedore and I had a nice afternoon fishing at Post Oak on Saturday 3/12.  The day started cool and got to 57 degrees or so.  The bass warmed up as the day progressed and the bass were chasing crankbaits and chatterbaits in the open water above the grassy areas.  We caught a pretty equal mix of culls and throwbacks with several decent fish in the mix.

The pontoon boat makes a nice fishing platform as long as the wind is not blowing too hard.  We chose to fish the pontoon and were pleased that the wind was mostly calm.

The water was a bit clearer that it has been in the past.
