This was my uncle and I’s 2nd trip to Button Lake. The lake is down about 4-5 feet or so making the upper part of the lake pretty hard to navigate by boat. Most of our fishing was from the fence line that is in the water to the dam. We caught about 30-40 with the majority of those being on spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. We did catch a few on TX rigs and senkos. We didn’t catch any fish under 14” and maybe even 16”. All of the fish we caught were real healthy fish. Most of them being around the 2-3 pound range. Caught a few in the 4 pound range (pictured below). I hooked up with one at the dam on a chatterbait that was over 5, maybe 6 or 7 and she broke off right at the boat. It was the best fish of the day. We met the owner Bill as we were leaving and he gave us some pecans.
