Met my son for a few hours of afternoon fishing at this fine tank! South wind was greater than forecast with gusts up to 20mph and whitecaps on the water. Water temp was 56f. Stayed on the bank and just enjoyed the outing!

Between us we caught a few (12-16”) on the north side of the tank between the creek and the onsite boat. No action in the creeks, dam or south shoreline. Chatterbait with a trailer, a neko set up and a ned rig provided all of the hits. Tried lipless, sq bill, glide, jerk, fluke and stick baits but the bass showed zero interest.

Happy to report the tank is full to the brim and water clarity up to18”. Green filamentous algae is starting to occur close to the bank over parts of the tank.

Had a nice visit with Mr. Stanley and thanked him for allowing us to access his property!
