Strong wind that pushed the boat around which after we got tired of that, we tied off to stumps along the tree line to the open water and stumbled on to where the fish were. The only lure we used was rattle traps...yellow/red/orange...in 6-12 ft of depth, casting out with the wind to open water and along the tree line. Caught 5, 4½, 4, 3½, & 3 lbrs. The rest were 15-16 inch and all the culls were 12-14 inches. All of the bass were fat...full of eggs and one had swollowed a 2½ inch frog. 2-3 were caught on an orange crank bait...the rest on Rtraps. Lake is full, mostly muddy from recent rains. Great afternoon on a very nice lake.
