Started off at 7:30am with temp in the 30’s. Landed the first fish in the first 30 minutes a 3lbr!  About 10 minutes later we landed a big one at 5.25, what a great start! Next we fished the bluff walls and caught a couple 2 pounders near the corner. Most of the other fish were caught all around the island closest to the boat ramp. Overall we caught 12 fish with only  1 dink which we culled. The lake is very impressive with brush piles, ledges, boulders and what seems like the perfect amount of vegetation. A great day of fishing at Sandy Shores!
