Fought the wind for about 4 hours, and managed 12 nice crappie and 3 dink bass all on shad colored crankbaits. The boat had a fireant nest in it, so suggest bringing some spray. Lake level was normal, and water looked pretty clear with gray mirk. Weeds were very limited. Be careful around the old boat dock piers near the launch area. We got hung up on one of them for a couple minutes, since they are just below the water level, and not visible.
