Took the Kayak up to Flying J but did not put it into the water until after lunch when it got warmer and the wind died down a bit. Banked fished in the morning with a fair amout of success (11 fish with one that looked about 3 lb.), However the real bonanza came upon launching the kayak. Even though the wind was storng enough to move the kayak around,I was able to wedge it into part of a brush pile and then fish the surrounding brush piles. As it turned out there a bunch of fish in that area. Wound up catching 34 in the afternoon with 3 that went  around 3 pounds. Total fish caught was 45, 4 nice ones and the rest Dinks but still fun to catch. I did try fishing along the dam which was in the leeward side of the wind but only caught 2 along the entire dam. The color of the day was green pumpkin (Bush Hog, Craw, Senko, etc). Tried other colors ( white, brown, blue) but they only bit on the green pumpkin.
