Made my second trip to Malouf under sunny windy conditions. Glad I fished instead of watching Cowboy game. Due to time contraints, I focused on north half of lake.  Caught all 6 during last 2 hours of the day.  Not much action from 1 to 3.  An egret working both the east and west banks seemed to have similar luck as me, as best I could tell.  Water clarity was clear at 3 – 4 feet.

Caught the biggest fish on a brand new Live Target Baitball Spinner (A-rig).  It was my only fish caught on east side, near the bank.  Other fish were caught west of timber in center of lake on a jerk bait.  Nothing on soft plastics or top water.  Surprisingly, I don’t think I had a bite on worms, senko or Tx R.  No fish along the dam.

Boat had a small leak, but not too bad for half day of fishing.  Glad to be back on the water again.
