Beautiful fall morning at Triple J with water temperature right at 59 degrees and low winds.  PWF Member Ken Youngblood and I fished the morning only and caught 13 LMB on a variety of baits.  Topwater was non-existent for us but we also didn’t stick with it too long as the lure of what may lurk underneath the surface was too much for our patience level.  Ken did his damage with soft plastics including the best fish of the day, a solid 5lb.  I worked in a bit of everything with most of my success coming on moving baits.  The fish are fat and happy at Triple J and starting to move up into the shallows as we pulled most of our fish from near the banks.  We caught fish all of the lake although the dam area still is the less productive for me (at least).
