The day was perfect; the fishermen, not so much. 

We got there too late for the morning bite, which may account for a comparatively slow day.   Only caught 3 at Comanche (1 dink), all on a white fluke.  Missed a few, but all seemed small, and hit right near the shoreline 

Moved to the other two lakes and immediately caught a 3 pounder on a frog at the tree line just to the left of the dock area.  That was my only fish of the day, but at least it was the biggest.  Got nothing else there so we moved to the middle  lake, where my son caught 4 in rapid succession on a pumpkinseed senko before we had to call it a day.  He caught them all right where the lake begins to widen.  

Water was pretty clear, not much vegetation where we fished.  We were limited to bank fishing, which also may have affected our numbers.  But all in all, a good day to be out.
