Tried another Decatur spot as it is close to home.   Fished from the Bank but the grass made it a chore. 

Like Robert's report from a couple of weeks ago, senkos got the most attention in the grassy areas.

Caught 4 in the morning on Texas-rigged white senkos.  None on the other colors in my newbie tackle box drew any attention.   Only one hit after noon, on a weedless spoon.  This one felt like it had some meat on it, but was wise and ran for the hydrilla and ended up breaking me off before I saw it.  Probably pilot error.  

Water was clear and probably high 70's temperature.  Beautiful day.  Wind picked up in the afternoon.  Was serenaded by some flyovers from several fighter jets.  Always fun to see those.  

May have to venture out a little further for my next foray.
