Went up north to this beautiful isolated spot. The drive way is clear for vehicles to pass with ease. They told me to park by their dock. U have to drive your vehicle through the knee high grass. Be careful walking. BE AWARE OF TICKS AND BUGS IN THE GRASS AS YOU WALK THROUGH IT. Waters are about 10-14 ft deep it seemed at the deepest spots. My best success was at the banks where the water was 3-5 ft deep. Wind kept shifting me around in the kayak but managed to have a great time and enjoy the roaming cattle which also uses the lake as a watering hole. Small fish but monitors that will last a lifetime. Thank you to the property owners to allow us to use their land. Always remember to keep those gates locked. These cattle are freely roaming.
