I was able to fish about 4 hours on the east Twin lakes but could not get bit until later evening. It was hot and miserable during the first 2 hours because there was no wind. I launched at the dam and fished mainly the east side of the lake. Most of the fishing was done on the east side and along the channel which went from 13 ft to 9 ft further up. I did not graph much activity until I got back towards the lower east point and dam. I think most fish were caught in the last 2 hours when the small weather front came through bringing the winds. I sized down on the baits because I started to see some small shad breaking the surface in 2-3 foot of water. A white color bait caught most fish. Anyways I ended up catching 11 bass and 1 crappie. The biggest bass measured 19.5” but it was skinny. It seemed like the larger bass were skinny and the smaller bass were chunky. Water clarity was 1.5 ft and temp was 85.
