Water clear, 84 degrees, Sunny. Water level has risen, so there is fishing in both arms of the lake again. Caught 13, culled 13. Nothing to brag about, biggest was 1.5 lbs. As is always the case, the best of the day didn’t make it to the boat. Lost a 2+ pounder about a foot from the boat. The pattern for the day was a Jointed Swim Bait in bluegill pattern. I did get one on a green/white fan tail senko, but by far the go-to was the swim bait.

This is the firt time fishing with this swim bait. I’ve seen them on the market but never tried them. This is one of those baits with realistic bluegill pattern, and about 5 sloted joints to make it swim through the water. I was inpressed.
