Son and I fished East lake am trip. Got on the water at about 6:15a and on my second cast along the dam by the launch I stuck a 7.5 on a swim bait. About 10 minutes later my son picked up a 5.6 on a top water popper. We each caught about a handful of others mostly dinkers with a couple 2-3’s mixed in there. It didn't take long for the air temp to pick up but I was doing ok since I was soaked from falling in the lake trying to retrieve my swim bait from a tree :) 
 

This was my 3^rd time to fish this lake and it's a great place.
