Fellow member Ryan Herrington and myself headed out to Timber Lake to try our luck at some of those “angry” bass we’ve heard of. We were not disappointed. The bite was slow relative to some other lakes we’ve fished recently but when we did hook up, we caught some of the best fighting fish in the club. The majority of the the fish were in the 3.5 lb range but they fight like they’re 5+. As usual, we caught fish on the weedlines and next to timber with slow presentations. Had a few hammer the frogs in heavy cover as well which is always fun to watch. Overall great day and will definitely return to this lake.
