NICHOLAS SAVO
Fry
PWF buddy and I hit Lake Thrallveston on 5/14 for a full day. Hit the Lily pads first, but not a lot of activity there surprisingly. It looks so juicy. A few blow ups, a few caught. Worked our way around and found a school of nice 5lb+ fish. We both forgot scales, but these were nice fish. Caught 10 nice fish at least. Stuck to the banks mainly. Not much luck by the structure markers. A few more nice ones as we worked our way around. On site boat was great. Electric outboard and anchor.
We used frogs and t-rig creatures mainly. Color made no difference. Water was limited viz. I was hitting good with white. Green pump and black and blue also worked.
Great property!
We will be back to Thrallveston again!
