The lake is smaller and can be bank fished for sure.  There is a  very nice area to park, picnic, etc...The location is not far off I 35 which was good for me as i was just passing through and fished 5:30 to 7: 30 pm.

 I did get the boat out, mainly to test my new chairback mount for jon boats.  Much better for the old man back.  

The vegetation was thick in pockets and water was clear.  I caught mostly on topwater and weedless frog rig.  The fish were healthy.
