We planned to fish all day Saturday but storms rolled in Friday evening. We arrived around 10am and the rain stopped.. it was a little windy but we anchored the boat and caught fish right away. Spoke to Mr Wade and he told us we could fish the big lake all day even though there was a fundraiser event at 5pm. Had good catches off and on. We tried all over the lake catching bass, crappie, bluegill and perch. The fish are very aggressive and keep you at attention. Also saw the eagles all around the lake.  We culled two bass under 14”.  Caught and released several bass from 1.5 to 2.5 pounds. This lake is so much fun to fish. Very well kept and Mr Wade is very nice and easy to talk with.  The rain came back very hard at 6:15 pm so we packed up quickly to beat the downpour. Can't wait to come back. Those crappie keep calling my name. And I'm looking for that 2lb crappie I dream about.
