Met fellow PWF member James Mathis Sunday 4/25 am at Hickory Creek. Beautiful sunny day with light to moderate winds. Water was very clear and the vegetation tolerable around the edges and the shallow spots in the middle. Best luck for bass was throwing weightless stick worms on the banks and slowly working them back towards the boat. A medium diving crank bait well worked out in the middle on the deeper end around the brush piles. Crappie were also caught in the deep end on the medium diving crank bait and on beetlespins with a small swimbait trailer in the shallow end around the island,  

Caught 31 bass from 10” to 21” and mostly in the 15-18 inch range. Culled 10

Caught and culled 14 nice crappie.
