Fished the afternoon at Twin Lakes from noon till 7 pm. Decided on West Lake because I wanted some crappie and it’s always been a winner for slab crappie. Started looking for the crappie at noon with no luck then hunted bass. Boated just 2 bass between 12 and 3. At 3 o”clock the dinner bell must have rung for the bass, Between 3 and 6 I caught 20 plus all healthy and full of fight with most doing jump tricks. They bit a 5” watermelon blue yum dinger in 1 to 4 ft of water. Most fish came off the north bank. Bite was still going when I changed over to a crappie crank and I caught 8 slab crappie before leaving. Bonus ball was 4 more bass on the crappie crank. A great day of catching at Twin Lakes.
