The day started the wrong way – Arrived, loaded the boat . . . . only to find that both my trolling motor batteries were dead. Drove into Mt Vernon and picked up a new battery (time to replace mine anyway.) Got back on the water at 10:30am.

Consistent action during the day except for a lull between 1pm and 3pm. Thie fish were nice size. Biggest was 4 1/2lbs. Wacky rigged senko was the only thing I could get to work exept late in the afternoon when I caught 3 on a topwater frog. I had 2 other blow up the frog but lost them. Always fun when you get topwater action.Caught most in the middleto western end of the lake.
