Perfect Texas spring weather.  Blue bird sky, wind vairable 11-15 mph.  Water clarity was very good.  Found fish holding off weed beds and very agressive with a number taking right at the surface.  All fish very healthy.  Only 4 fish needed to be harvested.   Bite was consistent all day – fished 1130 to 430.  Beautiful site and easy to launch my kayak from the shoreline.   Next visit I’ll take time to target the large blugill with my ultralight and fly gear.  Too much action today for the bass!
