Fished solo on the big lake from 9:30 to 6:30.  The forecast of bad weather turned out to be wrong –  morning storms did not materialize.  Bite was good all morning under lIght wind, then got progressivly slower when winds turned stronger and puffy in the afternoon.  Fish are healthy & energetic, including some large & aggressive sunfish, mostly bluegills.  Caught the largest bass of the day in the small upper part of the lake.  Had a pleasant chat with owner and of course the dogs had to say hello.  The ranch is beautiful as always with wildflowers popping up in green manicured pastures.
