We picked a day with 15 MPH winds with gusts over 20 MPH. Cloudy with a high temp of 71. Sounds like a bad day but the fishing  was great. The property is a beautiful working ranch. We anchored and then moved and anchored again for half the day and then bank fished. We caught and landed 33 bass with several over 4.0 pounds. We also met the owners who are wonderful, caring people. It rained about an inch while we were there and we got stuck. The owner pulled us out with his tractor. Many thanks to him. This lake is full of large bass. We plan on returning! OBTW right next to Round Top and the antique fair.
