Fished Flying M for the first time today.  Neat little lake.  BassForecast was rating the day at a 1.9 by the end of the day and it helped me feel better about just landing 5 bass for the day. (3 culls and 2 returned – nothing “big”)    I fished from about 9 am to 3:30 pm. all with the fly rod and black woolies.  Glad I had others reports to go on as they helped.  Caught 3 of the bass in the southeast corner of the dam right at the start of the “minor” period on BassForecast and 2 just out from the fence line that is to the right of the dock as you’re facing the lake.  It is erie to me that during the first few minutes of a major or minor period on BassForecast I always seem to get good bites.  The water was a little murkey but completely fishable.  I wanna go back when it warms up a little as I’m guessing there were many bass that looked at (maybe laughed at) my flies today but few takers.   I will say the cows at this place are super friendly.  Tough day of fishing in paridise but it was still paridise.   To PWF Staff: The website didn’t have a pop up for a harvest report on my reservation.
