I fished Escondido from 10:30 until 5:45 with an hour break. Caught several nice fish on a dirty jigs finesse swim jig at about 11:00. Then the bite stopped, so I took a lunch break. Went back out and caught a few more on the Zman TRD, however the bite was slow. The wind finally laid about 4:30, so I switched to top water. I had blowups on the Pop Max in all areas of the lake for the next hour. Caught about twelve up to 5lbs. The larger fish were caught in open water away from the grass. It was a great way to end the day!
