Had an unplanned wake up at 2:15 am so I decided to head out ridiculously early in order to see some of the meteor shower that was happening.I saw three shooting stars, smoked a cigar and waited until it was light enough to get on the water.

The visibility is 24" , the lake is 3' low and the vegetation has really died back. Caught 58 bass of which I removed 13. The largest bass was 4 & 3/4 lbs with two others at 4 lbs. The others were mostly in the 2 to 2 3/4 lbs range. A light breeze and cloud in the morning helped. 

Caught fish along the grass line early on wt/less watermelon seed fluke and 5" yum dinger early and then put on a Mister Twister Phenom Firetiger worm with a 1/32 wt that I had purchased in May 2000. This resulted in 17 bass. A drop shot using a 4" camo ring worm picked up 15 , one was the 4 3/4 lbs bass. Other bass came on wacky worms and other colors fishing tx rig that had green on them
