My wife and I started fishing about 3:00 and fished until 7:30. It was a very windy afternoon, and the fish were just not active. I manage three with a lipless crank, and my wife caught one on top water in the evening. The wind laid about 7:00, and the fish started hitting bait in the shallows. I threw a frog, whopper plopper, and a chatterbait, and the fish were just not interested. I was so happy that my wife finally caught one at sunset on a Megabass Pop Max. Seeing that 3 pounder slam her lure on the surface made the trip for her! The lake is down another 1-2', since I was there about a month ago.
