Great afternoon with beautiful weather. The water level was up maybe a foot compared to the last time I was there. The cull buck bass were plentiful today, I bet all 15 total weight may have been a total of #5, the 2 15" fish were very slender as well! This may just be a numbers lake, and thats OK because the property is beautiful. We listened to some hogs rooting about in the brush, saw about 6 water snakes and the frogs were plentiful too! We didnt use the campsite but its clean and well maintainedfor those interested.

The fish were buried in the grass, most caught in 6-8 feet of water on watermelon needle worms. The deeper water was a bust today.
