What a beautiful day to be out on small lake in the country!  Got to the lake about sunrise and fished from the bank for a few minutes before I took out the club boat.  Had a hard hit on a wacky worm, but didn't get him hooked.  That was the last hit on the wacky worm all morning.  About 9:00 caught a 12" bass on a Rat-L-Trap then between about 9:00 and 10:00 caught 4 nice bass all between 2 and 3 lbs. pulling a Super Fluke through the weeds at the north end.  Biggest was right at 3 lbs and they all were healthy fighters.  After that the bite turned off.  Fished top water frogs, wacky and finesse worms along with the floating Rat-L-Trap with no luck.  All in all this is a great looking place and I look forward coming back.
