Very slow day on the water. Water is clear, and 74 degrees. Lake is at about 50% which is about the norm in this area right now. Lake stayed calm with very little to no breeze. About 10 min into fishing with a fly, got into a fight with something big. Every time I got to a point where I thought I would see a flash, it ran and darted back into deeper water. Once I finally got it close, turned out to be a 4.9 lb Catfish. On a Fly!!!

Shortly after that, I changed to a Blue/Black Rage Craw. Another 4.3 lb Catfish. Fished for several hours after that with nothing. Went back to the fly just before leaving, and had one bass well under 1 lb.
