Fished Tarpley on July 29th from 7-2. 

Caught a total of 9 with 7 culls (several were 13”). 

Sky was overcast most of the morning, but the sun was strong after lunch. 

There was no real top water strikes and most of my strikes were on points with deeper water nearby. 

Soft plastic jerk and swim baits and medium diving cranks worked the best. 

Both ends of Tarpley are clogged with vegetation.
