My son and I fished the vegetation with frogs early and had some good blowups. My son got a 4 pounder. From 8 to 10 it was very slow. We moved to the deeper water closer to the dam, and threw square bills and rattle traps into the schooling fish. Caught another 10 or so in about an hour. Lake has dropped 1.5-2' in the last couple of weeks. Lots of thick vegetation 30-40' out from the bank. There's still plenty of open water to fish.
