Arrived at the lake around 1:00. Fished until dark with a few breaks in between. Landed 48 fish up to 6lbs. Only 6 culls. Majority of the fish were 2-4lbs with a few larger ones mixed in. All helathy and fought hard. Majority of the fish were caught on a Carolina rig in deeper water. Zoom 10in worms, Strike King Magnum Rage Bug, 6in senko, and Brush Hog all produced fish. Any natural color worked, plum, green pumpkin, watermelon red, etc. Also caught some smaller schooling fish on a Rat L Trap in the middle of the lake. Spook worked late along the edges of the pads. Grass has grown quite a bit in the last few weeks and we found that we got more bites wherever there was less vegetation. Fish bit throughout the afternoon and shut off just before sunset.
