Fished a midday trip with my young son and a friend.  Conditions were tough with the wind and misting rain throughout the day but my crew toughed it out.  We caught 20 with all but two biting on lipless cranks.  I was quite surprised to when we netted a 5.5 lb fish as I have not caught one close to that in my half dozen prior trips.  Only 10 were keepers which is also the lowest ratio I have seen in the 5 years fishing this spot.  Believe the program is working.
