Planned to fish early then late afternoon. Plan changed when I-35 was closed for accident.  3 hours from N. Dallas to Hillsboro. Did my DL renewal @8:15 instead of 12.  Actually had a good day fishing from 11-4.  Had some clouds & variable wind. At first had several blow ups on top as mentioned by previous report.  Could not get fish to eat the bait.  Went to unweighted Senko.  Caught 3 on that.  Went back to a small Yellow Magic & the Chatterbait and caught 4 more when clouds came in.  One cull and the others were 14 1/2 to 17 3/4.  Lake down maybe a foot and clear with lots of grass.  Someone with a yak or that fished from a boat could’ve done better as there were blow ups on other shorelines.  I fished off main point from the bank. Gate & lock in good working order and lake is easy access off 35.
