I fished Dogwood west today with my son, father in law and two friends . What a Great Lake!! I caught 20 almost all were 3lbs plus with 5 of them between 4&5lbs. My son caught 13 with a couple over 4lbs . Father in law caught 12 . Bret caught 10 and Bob caught 5 . I don’t think there were any small fish caught . We got broke of several times and missed a bunch of fish. My son and I caught all of ours on weightless senkos with fluorocarbon line slow twitching them. The bass were inhaling them! We fished from 7am to 1pm and the fish were still biting when we left. I highly recommend this lake. To top it off the owner MR.Hall came down to chat and see how the fishing was for. What a great guy. We really enjoyed talking with him .  he is very enthusiastic about growing big bass and wants people to come catch them. Overall it was an outstanding experience.
